The story starts in a garden with a young girl, Amar, watering a flower in a pot. It is seen from her perspective. Another person walks up to her and asks why she is watering the flower every day when the plant should be able to take care of itself. Amar explains that she does this because it's what she does to survive and wants the flower to have all the water it needs. We then switch perspectives and see things from the perspective of the plant that is being watered by the little girl. We watch as it grows over time and as it blossoms with life, spreading its petals into a colorful blossom we can't see. Amar is caring for the plant as she cares for herself. Cancer patients look at life from a different perspective. From a perspective of survival and life, and they draw out their perspectives so that we can understand them too. Buy Amar’s painting and show her you understand her growth and survival battle.
