The walls of her home are splattered with saturated colors. Butterflies fluttered outside her window, and she found comfort in this place.
This is the happy place of a cancer patient. Fatima finds relaxation and comfort in this place, because it reminds her of the life she had before she got sick.
She used to be able to spend hours painting out the happy place of her childhood, but now she feels weaker with her treatments, and so she resorts back to what relaxes her.
She painted out her happy place on the walls, and it looked like a butterfly had landed on each color—purple, green, blue, yellow… the butterfly was everywhere. It made her feel like she could fly away from everything that was bothering her and from all the pain she might feel.
